Hi Enjoyed my stay here ! I liked the location . Beach was nice on this section of the town. Lots of restaurants near by.

Manager never available,no one knew where corporate office was or how to contact, no iron or ironing board, WI-FI never worked. Staff poorly trained, yada yada yada

Stayed at the La Copa on SPI last week and am planning to go back for a week in Jan.07 , at 49 bucks a night , not bad . Hotel is on the beach ( no bar or restaurant but free beer and fairly good comp breakfast ! ) . Try and get a room on 3rd or 4rth floor - the view is better .

Hotel is good, not great, not horrible, but good. Would we stay there again?...They were not our 1st choice (1st choice was totally booked), but La Copa is an okay backup. If our 1st choice is booked again next time we go to Padre then perhaps we will stay here again.
Good things:-The staff is nice & helpful.

LaCopa is an OK hotel, but there are several things that are wrong which may make you feel like you are not getting your money's worth if you guy a room at peak room rates. The whole experience was great. We were there during the week before 4th of July. The hotel was busy but they managed well. We reserved 2 oceanview junior suites and was told a week before arrival they had no suites avaiable and no ocean views. They had overbooked and would down grade our reservation and credit a little bit of money.
i canceled and found a suite else where for less money.
