The facilities appear to have been built in the 50s or 60s but are suprizingly well cared for. The rooms, grounds and inground pool were all emaculately clean and well serviced. About 40 mins from Key West the Blackfin is quiet but not too far from the action. This is a great place to stay. Best of all you can bring you pets.

overall its pretty good, but some fo the rooms could do with a little make over, the last time i was there the curtains would not close all the way. some rooms only have cold air and no heat.
