There is some maniac who is employed at this facility. I would have liked to have used this guy as chum but the sharks would have choked on his bitterness. Get help you lunatic. Mahalo? How about, "you are fired because you act inappropriately with guests"? He should channel that anger into controlling the real problem in the park - stereo noise.

Although the place was beautiful, that beauty did not extend to the soundscape. The highway - just a stones throw away - brings with it the urban subwoofers fopr which a "natural" or "eco" vacation was supposed to be the cure. The landscape: BREATHTAKING. I loved the scenery and most of the staff. The ladies in the office were wonderful and very patient although they seemed very overworked, phone never stopped ringing. I loved the tunnel of love. The only negative was the nasty security guy who seems prejudiced against haoles.

I have been coming to North Shore Oahu over a 17 year period and am well aware of Malaekahana Kahuku Section. It’s one of the best places to stay on Oahu if you want to camp out or rough it. This former summer home of Princess Kawananakoa is a lot like "Gilligan's Island" now.
