the negitive customer service by the staff..makes us want to NEVER go back!!!!!!!

Been bringing the whole family five years straight to this safe and secured environment. We pitch tents. Bring our stove to cook some family ono food that the boys look forward to. We come prepared because we really rough it out. Staff is amazing. The place, especially Area 3 had some surprise additions like duplex and a grass shacks this year ...

The only thing i can say negative about this place is that it's really hard to reach the staff. They are very friendly but only if you can find them first.

The cabins are not luxury hotel and it was never meant to be. And for those people who complain about bugs and animals, i dont think they understand that you are CAMPING!!

If you are looking for the four seasons you should go stay there...
But if you are a simple "earthy" type that loves camping and doesn't mind the things that go along with it you will love this place.

wow. what can i say. the surroundings are drop-dead gorgeous and would be perfect for tent camping. we however had no clue and rented a cabin, expecting rustic accommodations but not the horror that awaited us. This will be the most relaxing and rejuvenating place you have ever stayed at.
The employees make you feel welcome; Chris, Ron, and Pam are the most gracious hosts you could ask for.

I stayed here for a week last July, and plan on staying again this May. The beach was beautiful, but the bathrooms were funky and one broke down for a bit while I was there. The showers are outdoors, built around a tree, with hot water.

The only problem were the chickens that run rampant in the park, and will eat any food left out.

Recently reviewed these facilities and found the beach area to be nice but the rest of the park was in pitiful condition, especially considering the price. Other camp areas on Oahu that are available by free permit have facilities that are in much better repair. The cabins looked as if they would fall down in a breeze or if someone opened a door. ...

Just so you don't misunderstand my original review, there are flush toilets and hot showers...just kind of funky.

I loved this place, and plan to go back.
