We'll be back!The cost for a campsite was reasonable. The campsites were not cramped at all...there's a lot of open space for kids to run around and play frisbee, volleyball, badminton, etc. It's safe for bikes and scooters. Rocky Neck + Small kids = Great Time!I grew up with vacations on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard and was skeptical of the Connecticut shoreline. With arrival of two daughters, I needed a beach close to home for day trips. Someone suggested Rocky Neck and eight years later, I am still going 4-5 times a summer. Great Park!Beautiful campsites,and very large. Bathrooms all seemed close by, and ours was very clean. Campground was very quiet at night. The beach is beautiful, but it is a bit of a hike...you may want to bring bikes or roller blades for the trails, which are very nice, and will help you get to the beach quicker...or you can drive down to the beach.
