server was bad,recieved the wrong dinner ordered fried scallops recieved broiled scallop dinner. Did not recieve salad or bread until after main meal which came with the wrong dressing on salad. was not ask if we wanted another drink.app was burnt on the bottom.

For the price the food is good. It has an extensive menu with very reasonable prices. The Clam Chowder as well as the hot bread was delicious. The only downfall was the waitress. However, other waitresses looked very competent, so it depends on who you get.

We were very skeptical after reading these reviews. However, being from the coastal south, we know some of the freshest seafood comes from the worst dives. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. went there with group for breakfast today. Got a table right away. Didn't have to wait for coffee or drinks. I had two eggs,two pancakes, and 3 sausages. It was good. Someone else in group sent a poached egg back, they thought it was too hard. I would probably go back again. A good restaurant in a bad part of town.

We have been to the Gridlocke many times for breakfast. The selection is great - the cost is average and the service is quick. Great for families - our 2 year old loves the attention from the friendly staff.

We have never had to wait on weekend mornings, either, which is hard to come by around here.

We will definately go there again. We have even brought friends!
