I tent camped with my two kids there last summer and we frequently saw dolphins from the shore at dusk. We saw a white deer in the herd of deer that we saw when we drove to the beach just before evening. We did get a photo. When we went on the Ferry boat across to New Jersey the kids had a great time with the entertainment that was included. I ...
the beaches are fabulous here-surf fishing, swimming or surfing-and very seldom busy-except holiday weekends-i would highly reccomend to people who enjoy the ocean or calmer waters of the bay-this park offers it all-storms have done some damage, but nature is repairing beaches-even without state funding needed for pier repair you can have a great time-
EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND THE FOOD CONCESSION WAS WONDERFUL ALL FRESH MADE FOOD WITH A FULL MENU. THE BATH HOUSE WAS VERY NICE AND THE BEACH WAS GREAT.FOR THE ENTANCE FEE YOU COULD SPEND THE WHOLE DAY IN THE PARK, HAVE FUN EAT GOOD FOOD AND NEVER WORRY ABOUT HAVING TO GO ELSEWHERE. THANKS

Bike In From Rehobeth
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/07
My wife and I "stumbled" into this park after renting bikes and growing tired of the obstacle course on the Rehobeth boardwalk. It's just a short, scenic peddle from the north end of the boardwalk. too early for the beach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
quite time mjust be extended till at least 12 midnight-get serious, people come to the beach to party and have fun. 10 is for senior citizens and maybe the old farts should consider staying home instead of coming down the shore- we were 2 adults with 5 teenage girls-we were sitting around the camp fire chilling out laughing and telling stories and we were told we were too loud and it was only 10;20pm on a thursday night

What's a Little Talking!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/05
Cape Henlopen State Park was a family oriented vacation spot. We camped out for a few nights and found the facility clean and comfortable. I went with 4 other women and our children. I do think that the quiet hours can be extended a bit from 10:00PM on the weekends. My girlfriends and I we enjoying the evening telling stories by the campfire ...
