My wife and I spent the weekend kayaking around Boothbay harbor and we found the staff at Tidal Transit to be very friendly and helpful. They put the boat on our car for us and provided maps and directions to the best islands around. We had a great time and would definitely rent from them again.

We started taking kayak tours at tidal transit 3 years ago and have gone back every year. Turns out sea kayaking is easy to pick up the basics, no previous experience needed. The guides at Tidal Transit are really friendly and helpful.

It was an amazing trip with knowlegable and helpful guides. We saw many osprey upclose and personal! Seals, and even an eagle for a brief moment. The guide [Travis] answered all of our questions and was likable and easygoing. What a tremendous paddle!

Kayak tour of boothbay harbor, went to a few small islands for some short hikes. very worth the money, kids loved it. great instructions from great guides. kayaking is not hard!!!
