We enjoy visiting historic sites. Ft. Constitution is a harbor defense fortification dating back to our revolutionary period. I would highly recommend visiting the site and taking a drive through Main Street in Newcastle, NH as well. Another bonus - visiting Fort Constitution is free!

my family and I had a great time visiting this Fort. the views were fantastic. the history was interesting as well. for something different to go and do visit this Fort. the lighthouse was closed on the weekend we were visiting. we r returning again to visit. hopefully on a bright and sunny day w/ the lighthouse open for tours.
