  • Best Pasta Bar in the World
    By Jon, 02/23/09
I have traveled all over the world and nothing beat Anton's pasta. No matter which dish I order, I always enjoy it and for the price these days Anton's is impossible to beat. It is a must see when in Vancouver.

  • so so food mediocre service
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/07/09
I have been to Anton's before and the portions are enough to feed small village, but you have to put up with being treated like cattle. This begins from the time you get there when you line up outdoors to wait for a seat. The inside seating arrangements are too crowded. On New Year's Eve I did not want to fight the crowds in the restaurants ...

  • I can't wait to return!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/07
I loved the food. There's so many choices and you can't beat the value of their menu. I had left overs to bring home and I was sad when they were gone. I missed them. Hope to return very soon to Anton's.

My only complaint. The place was very cramped. Too many fans, not enough room to compensate for the mass quantities of hungry visitors. Expansion of the joint would be awesome.

  • Great value, if the food were any good
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/07
I disliked the food. The quantities are vast, but it was pretty tasteless. I had the Pasta Siciliano which had black olives, red peppers (bell?) and capers. It was supposed to also have anchovies, but I didn't detect any. Maybe they were ground up in the red sauce. The thick pasta had a displeasing texture. I took home what I didn't eat and ended up throwing it away.

  • Great Food Amazing Portions
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/31/05
This is THE place to go if you are craving a delicious pasta dish.

The portions are huge, but the best part is: they haven't sacrificed quality for quantity.. they give you BOTH!

If you can, order it for "take out", you get the same size serving (actually it looks like a little more) and you can enjoy it in the comfort of your own home, without having to be packed into the tiny restaurant.

  • Eat it all...Get a prize!! I'm not kidding
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/05
This is one of the best places to eat. The food is to die for, as anyone waiting in the sometimes hour and a half long line-up will tell you. The portions are huge. One of the best parts is seeing the fire jump from the grill, and watching other people's food go by and wondering if you should order that next time. Although it is hard to stray ...

  • Best Pasta Place Ever
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/05
You can get huge dishes for about two to three people at the price of any other restaurants pasta price for one person. Their food is amazing, and there's always something for everyone. Anton himself comes around and greets everyone, so it just feels like a homey Italian restaurant.

  • A MUST if you're in the area!!!
    By Clint, 08/22/05
I hated the wait outside, but well worth it when you sit down and enjoy the bounty of food. The wait staff are a little slow and seem to forget about you after awhile. But then again you don't go there for the service...just the food. A definate must if you're in East Vancouver or in Burnaby or just traveling on a budget. You can definately share a meal between 2-3 people (which is normal).

  • not too bad!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/05
What I loved about this place was the taste and quantity of the food. I had the alfredo pasta and the pasta sauce was silky and tasted great. The decor of the restaurant provides an old italian feeling. There are pictures on the wall in black and white of a less stressful time possibly in Italy. The only down side is having to stand in line outside ...
