The worst vacation we ever had. This hotel has only one pool and is crowded all the time there is no space if you go to the pool area after 10:30 AM. Beach is dirty and crowded all the time if you want a shaded area on the beach you have to be there around 7:00 AM. Food was terrible . A friend and I recently went and the only thing we didn't like was the weather. Be careful of booking in hurricane season. Everything else was A-plus, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant was lovely. There is a span on the premises, and we felt like queens.

Absolutely amaizing, the workers, food, rooms were great. and the best part- beach obviously. will be back! Service was good, everyone spoke english actually very very very well. Shows were amaizing. been to 5 all inclusives before this, so i can compare (all were more than 4 stars) and sday this resort was definately a favourite!~

There was nothing at all that my wife and i disliked we where there in November of 2007 my wife was so pleased with the maid service the food the beach and the hospitality that we have planed another one for February 2008 we have been to Cuba a few times but we totaly loved the catilonia bavaro resort the rooms where very good and every one so polite and always smiling this is what you want see when you go on a holiday

We were there for a week from December 20 to December 27. Spending Christmas on the beach was a different experience to us but would do it again.! We travelled with 3 kids, 11,13, and 16 and they had a blast! They loved the night show the game room, we were never worried of their where abouts.

Rooms were very clean and maids very quick to come if needed after calling reception.
