The Queen's staircase also known as 66 steps is a tripart tourist attraction. It is a part of Bennet's hill where the water tower and Fort Fincastle sits. It is well worth to visit this 17th century attraction.

Worth the Walk
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/05
We signed up for a walking tour at the welcome center where the cruise ships dock. You do not need to be on a cruise to go there. The walking tour was very informative and included the Queen's Staircase.
I suggest doing the tour in the morning then doing your shopping in town in the afternoon. If you are staying on Paradise Island, take the water taxi. Its more fun and slightly cheaper than the regular taxi.
