very clean and nice, people are great and the food excellent. We had a great Bahamian experience. We stayed at the Hilton across from this restaurant and it was great, because the Hilton's food was very bad and typical hotel food, thanks to Conchfritters we had a great time and the best food in Nassau. You should come and experience this wonderful place..
just the best food in Nassau Bahamas.. Finally a good place to eat. Very clean and friendly people. We went to Atlantis and the food was very bad so was the people. This is the best so far. you must come and eat.

Horrible Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/08
I read some good reviews about Conch Fritters, so the last time I was in Nassau I decided to check it out.
We got there in the middle of the day and the place was maybe half full (certainly not busy). We found a table, and then waited for a server. And that's all we did there. That was the entire experience, waiting. Not once did anyone come ...

My son christining and we went to eat at Conchfritters does not matter if you are local or tourist they treat you very very good. The food was excellent and the service even better. We are Bahamians and it is the best local real Bahamian restaurant in the island.
Went to this place on June 24, 2008-saw this on Yahoo travels before our trip, as a good place to eat. After eating there, it was awful. Prices were for tourist, that's excepted. The service was awful though, the waitress did not bring our drinks when we ordered them and it took her 15 minutes to get them, my wife asked for the drinks and it ...

Misled
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/07
The food was average. Was given a check that showed a tax, when in reality it was a gratuity. Asked about it and they insisted it was a tax and no gratuity was included. After leaving and reaffirming later that they had misled me, I returned and brought this to their attention. Was told by the manager that was too bad, and the guy that told me this was not there. Not a way to do business.

Stay away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/07
I would never go back to this awful place again. The food was cold and no one was concerned that the food was cold nor were they concerned the food was untouched but they still charged me. I recommend going to the Fish Fry on the backside of the main strip from the other fish fry's. Or the Cricket field has a great resturant with the best cracked conch in the world I promise.

Looking to taste island food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/22/07
Since it was our first time in the Bahamas, we decided to pass on Hard Rock Cafe and Senor Frogs to find out what conch tastes like.
After going out of our way to find the ever famous conch, someone finally pointed out "Conch Fritters Restaurant."
Maybe we weren't into conch that much--it was too chewy (tastes like very rubbery ...
