We had a wonderful vacation in the Bahamas last month except for the wasted night at the Bonfire. We waited in the check-in line for at least 20 minutes and by the time we got into the place, all the sundeck seating was gone. We finally found a table on the beach and then waited in the buffet line for another 45 minutes. They ran out of food too ...

Glad I Went
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/07
I truly am glad that I attended this event. Although I probably will not include the Bonfire on my next visit, solely because there are so many other good things to do and see in the Bahamas, I’m sure to include this exciting event in future plans. I felt like there were events and things for the deferent age groups, considering this was, ...

I absolutely loved Freeport Bahamas. The people were so nice there!! We are a young couple and thought it was great :-) We went swimming with dolphins, to the bonfire on the beach, did the city tour, glassbottom boat tour and deep sea fishing!! I thought this place was a BLAST!!

too much drinking ... cleanliness issue at times ... staff friendly mostly ... not enough varied activities for younger of mid age groups ... not much more to report ... typing due to 25 word requirement
Friends, BE VERY CAREFUL. Freeport Bahams is a PIT. The bon fire is a joke, unless you like LOTS of drinking, it really is no big deal. Expensive, and really not worth it. Save your money and do it yourself!
We spent a week in Freeport, Bahamas this summer and stayed at the Island Seas Resort - ABSOLUTELY THE WORST VACATION EVERY! Why? 1. ...
Unless you like drinking and liquor, you will hate this tour! It was a complete rip off. They did not promise anything they claimed. They said there would be "All You Can Eat". This is a LIE. First of all, they serve YOU. If you don't like what they serve you and you don't take what they have, you will be wasting your money. Why? ...

It is a must do, Oh my gosh we had such a great time there. And all the food that you can eat & drink. And the entertainment was the icing on the cake.
The bonfire on the beach was a really fun and entertaining activity there at Grand Bahama. I would recommend it to anyone going to the island. Great food and great entertainment!!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/07
I took my family there for spring break (ages 5 and 12) the pepole was wonderful, the food was wonderful, the entainment who could as for me. Also you have to try the Kulk - shellfish - it may look nasty but it was a wonderful citus taste!!! I miss the Bahamas will come back soon to visit all the Bahamians!!! I give this activity a 10 +++++ Thanks for showing us a good time
This was one of our more memorable times in Freeport. A very energetic host leading us in games, food, drink, dancing, and of course the bonfire. Made a fool of myself in one of the games, but pleasant memories.
