This Christmas, I would recommend a trip to Shafer Vineyard Cellars in Forest Grove. The wines are wonderful (especially the Autumn Harvest Riesling). Miki's hospitality and wine tasting are great fun. The German Christmas shop is a perfect place to spend an afternoon. Afterwards, drive down the street and harvest a fresh Christmas Tree at Howell's Tree Farm. It's a great way to start the Christmas season!
