We went to Friday Harbor for a romantic spring getaway and booked a room at the Lakedale Lodge for two nights. It was a beautiful setting and we were one of three couples who were staying there at the time. It felt very private and quite intimate. I don't know what the high season is like, but I would definitely be willing to try it out, this place is worth the drive!
