My wife and I are from Candiac, Quebec, Canada. We have been staying there since 2004.We camped at the state parks in the area in 2003 and they are not very clean. The one at Cumberland Head Bay floods when it rains and it is very noisy at night.

We came from Quebec to shop in Plattsburgh because it is only a couple of miles away from this campground. We asked the managers to come sit by the fire with us and we got to talking about how quiet it was. They told us that they do not allow anyone under 21 years of age to camp there. Sounds like they really care about making campers stay a pleasent one. We really had a relaxing stay and we plan to stay there everytime we travel to Plattsburgh.

When we got there we werent too sure about it but when we got set up everything was going great! Although a mini tornado ruined our tents and food, it was still tons of fun!!..Beause the owners left for a hotel and left us teenagers alone with the bathrooms locked. All we had access to was the tiki hutt! bring a group of friends and go to OAK KNOLL!

My family and I camped here in August 2007. Great time of the year to be there. Clean facilities. Large sites. Like the security.
Beautiful park. We had problems with our motor home and the manager helped us find a local RV dealership to do the repair. We would recomment this campground to anyone.
