We booked a reservation. They couldn't provide a room so they used my credit card number to make a reservation at the Marriot up the street. This was without my knowledge or consent. Grandstay would not pay for the Marriot room. Industry practice is that if you cannot honor a reservation, you pay for the replacement room. Buyer Beware

I had never heard of GrandStay before we spent a night there and actually wished we needed to stay longer! Due to a large convention in town and short notice on our part, we were offered the handicap accessible room. It had a walk-in shower rather than a tub, which was perfect for us.
