it was a dump ! nasty, rats scurrying about,elevator rickety,staff was RUDE like most in the city.
the picture on the postcards and the ads for the place is laughable! it might have looked like that in 1968 or so but not since when we stayed there. the hotel made such an impression I was curious to see if they were still using the same promo ...

Four of us stayed in this hotel 8 times while attending weekend classes at the Time Warner Building. The rooms might be small and the bathrooms smaller, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, even letting us store our luggage until we left for home on Sunday evenings. If you're not into staying in your room while in NYC, the Park Savoy is a very good deal for the price!

For the first time in our lives something was stolen from one of our suitcases in the room and most amazing of all the manager was unavailable to talk to us even though we made numerous attempts to talk to him. Good location. Two different rooms only marginaly bigger than the queen size bed.
