Great location, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable rooms.

Swiftcurrent Lodge was a wonderful experience. Basic, rustic, very clean and enjoyable rooms/cabins literally right on the Big Thompson. Conveniently located close to Estes Park and RMNP in a beautiful setting. Hot tub with a view and great hiking trails. We loved it and really want to return! We own a time share and this was one of our most enjoyable vacations.

SwiftCurrent is our favorite vacation spot. Soothing sights and sounds surround you as you stay at this rustic yet pristine establishment. Coni and Gary are the BEST hosts, helpful and always available. Close to town and RMNP. Quiet and peaceful.

This place is a bona fide treasure. This was my third stay in a year. The accomidations have all I need and the sound of the river after a day of hiking is like music. I delighted in the elk,the moose(on the other side) the mountain sheep and the bear with her two cubs among others. I love hiking and there is no better Park access than can be fond here. God willing, I shall return in the autumn

Our family loves Swift Current Lodge. It's in a perfect location, maticulously kept, and the owners/managers are exceptionally nice. It is a great value with wonderful access to RMNP and of couse the beautiful Big Thompson River that sings you to sleep nightly. Swift Current Lodge is like our "home" in the Rockies. This year was our 3rd year to stay at the Swiftcurrent Lodge and it was even better than the years before.The rooms are neat and clean, the hot tub right on the river is fantastic and the river marks the boundary for the Rocky Mountain National Park. We took a trail right out of the back of the lodge and saw one of the most spectacular views of our whole trip. Gary and Coni are the perfect hosts. We plan on going back year after year.

We've stayed at Swiftcurrent Lodge 3 times now, and it is our favorite place to spend a romantic Valentine's weekend. We love the personal attention and are always able to stay in one of the second story rooms overlooking the river. The view is spectacular and after a day of site-seeing, snowshoeing or hiking, it's like coming back home. We are already talking about our next stay!
