I really enjoyed my stay at this campground. It was very clean, well maintained, quiet and friendly. The campground is great for kids, big play chess, tic tac toes, mini golf, giant checkers, playground, pedal cars, even a playground for your pets!! Cabins are beautiful!!!! Just came back today 7/19/09! Many stars from Rockland County, NY!

Campground is very wooded with large, mainly level gravel sites. Very quite even when full. Lots of activities for the little ones and a great hiking trail. Store has a nice selection and local information is well detailed. WiFi service is outstanding anywhere in the park.

Gettysburg KOA = CAMP PRISON
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/06
Very dissapointed with Gettysburg KOA. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH A LARGE FAMILY! Emile, the owner is way to concerend with any noise. Coming Again soon!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/06
It's been a few years, but I liked everything about the camp grounds: the pool, camp sites, the cabins, the store and especially your friendliness to motorcyclists! I've tent-camped there three times over the years and will stay, sleep and recreate there again on my return visit to the battlegrounds in June or July "06. The KOA staff is so courteous and helpful!

We go here EVERY Labor Day!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/06
Great tent-sites, great cabins, great store, great bathrooms, and great staff. And Emile keeps it quiet, he will evict noise-makers. Other than that, average! After several years of going every Labor day, I kidded him that we deserved a free year. He pointed over at some other folks and said jokingly, "They've been here every Labor Day for 25 years, and I don't even give THEM a free one."
Early in our marriage Don and I took our children to see Gettysburg Battlefields. Don is an avid reader on the Civil War and many books on all the subjects and officers. He is distanly related to General Jubal Early. We brought our son Mark to visit the Gettysburg Battlefield when he was just 10 years old. He visited all by himself last year ...
