Ellen, Dennis, and Betty really know how to make people feel at home and very relax.We were there for 3 nights and could not ask for a better place to spend our 39 year anniversary. IT WAS A LAST MIN TRIP, MY SISTER, DAUGHTER AND MYSELF LOVED IT. WE HEARD AND SMELLED THINGS IN THE NIGHT. I HOPE THEY POST SOME OF THE THINGS PEOPLE WROTE IN THE GUEST BOOK. WE READ IT AND ADDED TO IT. STAY HERE, WE WILL RETURN.

THE FARMHOUSE WAS AMAZING,IVE DRIVEN BY MANY TIMES THRU THE YEARS AS IM LOCAL AND ALWAYS DREAMED OF STAYING THERE.WOW WHAT A NICE WEEKEND ,THE INKEEPERS R WONDERFUL FRIENDLY AND PROFFESSIONAL. THE ROOMS R CLEAN AND COZY. YOU MAY BE SLIGHTLY OUT OF TOWN BUT GETTYSBURG BEST B N B ,AND THE LOCATION IS TOP NOTCH,WELL BE BACK AGAIN REAL SOON.THANKS TERRI AND JOANNE

My wife and I had such a great time at the Inn. We have come to Gettysburg many times before and we really enjoyed our stay at Lightner. Quiet, cozy and beautiful with plenty of open space and very close to all of the attractions of area. The owners took great care of us and had a wonderful breakfast for us the next day. Much better than staying in a hotel and ask for the Walnut Cottage. Awesome.
