The Folkestone Inn is first-class. Great breakfasts with gourmet touches in large servings start your day of exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park within walking distance or white-water rafting down the Nantahala River approx. ten miles to the west. The staff are superb and the rooms are big enough for guys who usually feel claustrophobic in B&B's. We stayed a week and were never bored.
The Folkestone Inn, a 1920s farmhouse, is located a quarter-mile from the Deep Creek entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.
