We loved the ambiance of this quaint place! The owners were lovely people and the room we stayed in was perfect! Like we were in a cabin. We will stay there again someday! The river and falls were so beautiful! Kids were well accepted and their dogs were like our own!

The place was not as represented at their website. It appeared unkempt, and unsafe due to construction. It appeared as though it was furnished from the local thrift/junk store! The best thing about the Hillsboro Inn were the two dogs! They were adorable!

It's not as cheap as a chain hotel, but it's ALOT nicer. The small town has nice shopping and nice people. Closes early so get there early. We have been there twice and will go again and again.
