What can I say about The Azalea Inn, besides excellent hospitality from the owner Teresa.( complementary champagne upon finding out we were on our honeymoon) Delicious breakfast meals.Very comfortable rooms with a great feeling through out the Inn. Warm companionship from the adorable Joey. Just a short stroll to Forsthye Park and all of Savannah. We loved it. We highly recommend The Azalea Inn & Gardens.
We had a wonderful time, Jeffrey's cooking is phenomenal!!! Theresa and Jake are great hosts and Joey (dog) is superhost to the max! The Inn is beautiful, clean and upgraded. There were so many extra tidbits, such as sweets at night waiting for us, cocktail snacks in the evening, wonderful setting and close proximity to everything. I would stay again.
More than a home away from home, the Azalea Inn was a dream away from home -- stunning antiques, gourmet breakfasts, and elegant rooms, but most impressively, the owner and staff made us feel like family. Jeffrey spoiled us with his charm...and we loved it. With fond memories, Cap
The Azalea Inn was the perfect B&B for our girl's weekend. Everything was perfect -- more than we'd hoped for. The staff is great, the food -- wow! -- the rooms are beautiful and so very comfortable. You'll feel like you are returning home to a beloved aunt and uncle's home, where everything is cozy and luscious and welcoming. ...
Simply perfect ...thanks a lot from the UK , I only wish that the proprierters of our B&Bs had the same ideas of customers needs . Theresa is a class act !!
What sets this B&B apart from others is that the Azalea team provide an informed and helpfully opinionated view of Savannah and what is can offer visitors. All this is on top of ample hospitality and well presented facilities. It's a mile to the Riverfront but there is so much to see, drink and eat on the way there that you don't notice at all!
We loved our stay at the Azalea Inn. The rooms were beautiful - they were true to the historical period of the house yet still contained all of the best conveniences. Our hosts, Teresa and Jake, could not have been friendlier or more helpful - they had great reservations for every part of our weekend. We had to leave very early on Sunday morning and they made us "breakfast to go" bags, without our ever having asked.
The Azalea Inn is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! Our room was great, and I peeked in most of the other rooms and each was better than the last. Theresa was so helpful and even made a special breakfast for my friends who didn't eat sausage. Jeffery was hilarious and made the vacation even better. My husband and I were ...
If there was anything - and I am digging - that we might have said was a bit inconvenient it would be that we had to walk a bit farther than we thought we would to the historic river street. But after 7 days, we found that the exercise did us good. The temp was 92 and the humidity was awful but EVERYTHING else was perfect.
Our stay at Azalea Inn and Gardens was our first visit to a Bed and Breakfast. Teresa and her staff made us feel right at home. The Sweet Olive room was spotless and very comfortable. The Inn is beautifully decorated with period pieces and the murals on the dining room walls were beautiful and interesting to look at. It was too cool to swim in the ...
