I was just at a wedding at the Inn and witnessed the owner yelling at several people in the wedding party. She was rude to the guests of the wedding as well. I heard from the bride that the whole planning process with her was horrific. If you want your wedding to run smoothly, don't have it here.
From the nasty ,unreceptive staff(owner?) to the dingy washed out linens to the tacky artificial dust ridden flowers to the one week old pastries and black bananas on the supposed breakfast table our stay at this inn was a true disappointment!
My daughter just had her wedding at the Inn. I could not ask for anything more. It was charming, special and very intimate. Not living in Austin was hard as a bride's mother in helping to plan for this. I truly appreciate Jill's time, suggestions and care she gave to my daughter to help this be her special day! The bride's ...
Romantic, charming... like nothing else in Austin. Service great and attention to detail superb. Thumbs up. We will be back. Thank you everyone for a great stay.
What a beautiful B & B. With above average rooms and a great Austin Location. And thats it. Our wedding at this Inn was tainted by the Owner. She is very controlling and deceptive as a bussiness owner. Numerous times during the planning(after we were finacially committed) and wedding she became argumentitive and confrontational with members of the ...
My stay at Pearl Inn has was great. I stayed here at South by Southwest and was very impressed. It has a warm and engaging atmosphere. I higly recommend. Not sure what the prior reviewer was talking about. My room was very clean. A great Austin hideaway. Thanks!
This Bed and Breakfast isn't really worth the price. The linens and curtains look old and dingy. The bathrobe was covered in dust and looked like it hadn't been washed in ages. There is very little parking without getting blocked in. The complementary breakfast is nice and the deck/patio area is relaxing, but these amenities do not justify the price. I'd keep looking as I am sure there are better b&b's in austin.
Do not let the management promise you anything without getting it in writing. They will act like they never promised it, and then charge you extra for not delivering. The grounds are nice, but beware of flighty management.
Although the hotel is pretty, do not be fooled. The staff and owner do not know the meaning of customer service. I was treated like a bother, which is not how a guest at a B&B should be treated...I had to place a deposit to get a room, and had a lot of trouble getting my money back from them...Do not trust the Inn at Pearl St.
