It was my first time going to Key West. The Galleon made me love it even more. The staff was very helpfull as well as friendly. If we needed anything, they had it and were happy enough to suuply it. The pool was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and very luxurious. The location was great.

The Galleon resort in Key West Fl. has an excellant location. We stayed their without a car and just rented one for 48 hours for an off-island excursion. We have been staying at this resort for the last 18 years.It is clean,well maintained and quiet.It is within walking distance to Duval Street and many island ammenities.If boating,fishing,or relaxing is your cup of tea this is athe place for you.There are several fine restaurants within walking distance.The resort offers 1 and 2 bedroom suites with kitchen and washer dryers in the unit.Great place to vacation with or without children.

The Galleon has one of the best water side bars in Key West with a great pool, and one of the few private beaches. The marina Suites are great. This is for the people who want to enjoy the veiws of the water and boats, but if your not interested in boats ask for a gulfside veiw. The Gulfside provides the best views of the sunset. While we enjoyed the convenience of the location of the Galleon, we were very disappointed in the remainder. The place had no atmosphere, the pool, and beach area were a big disappointment.
