Loved Peace of Maui. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Great location, great accommodations at a great price, great people. I showed up with no reservation and they were full that night but set me up in a tent with an extension cord from the house, and got me into a room the next night.

Peace of Maui is well designed, clean, full of good, welcoming Aloha energy. With 7 room choices in the main lodge, and SIX bathroom areas, 3 with showers and 3 with sink and toilets, it feels more like a B&B than a hostel. I'm surprised to read the negative reviews about this place- it was PERFECT! It was located in real Hawaii- not a generic touristy place. Very clean rooms, restrooms, kitchen. Everything was fully functional. I visited with 3 other friends and we were all very happy. The birds were chirping at 6am which was annoying but hey it's Hawaii! Had some apple-bananas from the bushes in their garden. Just sad we didn't stay any longer.

Hawaii is the best but the hostel is the worst !hte hosts were so brutal no words to describe it!dont ever go there!not clean very messy veryunfriendly!

This place is extremely clean! I was very impressed. The beds are also very comfortable with cute bed spreads and nice sheets. The hot tub, internet, and TV+small refrigerator in the room were nice additions. There were 6 rooms, but I never once had to wait to use the bathroom or kitchen.
