For a friendly, personal place, Rivera Lodge can't be beaten. I have visited occasionally since the early '80's. The owners' advice on fishing, backpacking, and general enjoyment of the area cannot be beaten. The weekly pancake breakfast is a treat not to be missed. If you are tired of the "big chain motel" treatment, Rivera Lodge will be a giant breath of fresh air (literally).
