The Islander Inn says it has lake access. The website neglects to inform that the lake access is across Highway 35 and consists of a wooden dock. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. The photos fail to show that the Inn lacks parking, is blatantly obvious as a boozing party site and sits on a gravelly hill. It is no place for families or people seeking the placid beauty of a stay on Flathead Lake. Skip it.

We liked that it had free wi fi and a computer in the office for guests to use
Espresso in the am was a hit and the location - near Glacier National Park and Bigfork
We liked being able to walk to have a nice dinner on the water and the owners showed us all sorts on interesting spots that we would have missed - it's a bonus to have a local help you out!

We'll be back and tell our friends that it is a perfect stop in the North

Great spot if you want to enjoy Flathead Lkae - we rented kayaks, swam in the lake and enjoyed incredible sunsets at The Islander - the rooms are quite unique - we wished we could see the rest but they were full!!

Great rooms each with individual island decor. Great food at Raven ,fun and relaxing incredible views on Woods Bay,Sunsets waves People are friendly , great music and drinks. We will return area is beautiful
