If you have a tent or a tent trailer, go somewhere else. All those sites are located near the gate (main entrance road) and a local street. In front there is 3 big garages doors and a lot of noise coming from there. It's impossible to sleep. If you are not sastified of you site it is not possible to change it. You keep the site or you go home. ...
You have to pay a cash deposit with cabins, inspected as if you are signing a lease, plus $10 for a key card and TV remote. All refundable, but they kept my deposit on the remote, claiming no record of my paying it, essentially calling me a liar. No refund for leaving early.

great vacation!

We camped at this campground for the first time in June 08 in a 27 foot t.t. It was very nice. Camp sites are very large and even. CLEAN! Huge lake for swimming and fishing. Man made beach on the lake with a huge playground area for kids. Plenty to do. Nice store, but no restaurant or even an ice cream parlor. Not that you really need it ...
I have gone to many camp resorts and beachcomber is one of the best. Its a great place for the whole family. Creative activities for kind at the camp and only 10 mins away from both Wild Wood and Cape May beaches. The sites and bathrooms are clean and they have the friendlist staff.
