I visited the hotel before setting off on a cruise. I found the hotel with ease upon my arrival in Southampton, the staff were extremely polite and helpful. I was especially pleased with the bar tender, i found him to be most helpful. I would reccomend the Star Hotel if your visiting Southampton, it really is a must even if you just pop in for a drink or two.
