For an experience that is truly, 'New Zealand', The Ferns is a must for your trip to the Auckland area. The chalet felt like our own private, romantic oasis in the trees. We stayed several days and enjoyed walks to stylish local cafes for coffee and drives to the most spectacular beaches we had ever seen. Staying at the chalet was one of the highlights of our stay in New Zealand and we can't wait to return!
