A great place to relax!My husband and I went to Guanica for our 9th Wedding Anniversary. It took us 2.5 hrs to get there. We stayed at the Copa Marina Hotel. Although it was expensive, there were "fonditas" nearby were we could find good inexpensive criolla food. I will never go back there again!This place advertises that it is a short drive from the airport in San Juan, but actually is a 3 to 4 hour ordeal depending on what time of day you are going. The beaches were not good for bathing or swimming due to the mushy consistancy of the sand. The dry forest was beautiful but not much to do.
