  • Wonderful! Love it!
    By marab, 11/28/08
My time at this spa was wonderful. I went in for massage and a facial last week and I will definitely come and recommend to all. Thanks Victoria, she did a great job. Very convenient location and relaxing atmosphere.

  • Horrible

I have been to Essential Therapy several times and for the most part received okay service. The facials are far better than the massages since the masseuses don't bother to listen to what you say and do their own thing anyway. I have easily given them over the course of my time going there $1000, plus I have sent referrals to ...

  • DO NOT GO, WORST SPA!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/08
Essential Therapy is anything but therapeutic. Not only do you feel like you are going into a dark basement, when you get to the women's lounge, it is dirty. The massage did not leave me feeling refreshed, in fact, the therapist had rough elbows! I don't know how, perhaps she has not given a massage in a while but my goodness she needed ...

  • Hated it
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
The massage area, sauna, dressing room is in the basement - it feels like a dreary dungeon. The dressing room is tiny- and you can't move comfortably with more than 2 people in there. The lockers don't have hangers, and there is nowhere for you to hang your clothes- you have to fold them into the locker. So don't wear anything that you ...

  • Worst Spa Ever!!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/07
    The massage therapist was inexperienced
and did not do a deep tissue massage
that was requested at time of payment.
The oil used smelled like sugar. I had
an allergic reaction to the oil, my skin
broke out in a rash on the areas that the
oil was placed. The spa is downstairs
in a basement with an extremely narrow
    walkway that was carpeted ...

  • Blissful
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/07
I was looking for a spa to surprise my girlfriend for our anniversary and was recommended Essential Therapy by one of my friend who is a regular at Essential therapy. We had a 90 minute couples massage and absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, facilities clean and my massage was excellent. I highly recommend this spa and can't wait to go back!

  • Spa!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/07
This place is great! Try it out for Spa Week. They have a steamshower, dry sauna, hot tub, plus yoga & pilates classes, and all the other great things they offer (massage, facial etc).

  • Don't go and you won't be ripped off
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/06
Don't get ripped off -- do not pay them ahead of time by buying gift certificates online!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate for $120 for my birthday so I could get a massage at this place, for which he read pretty good reviews online. Since I've never been there before, I called to schedule an appointment and get the ...
