I have stated at Hotel Dolce 4 different times. By far Hotel Dolce Villa is the only place to stay in Providence. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located right in the heart of great Italian resturants, and deli, and bakerys. The manager Steve could not be more helpful. He and his staff are top shelf!! Rooms have friges, microwaves, and ...

I booked for a bday weekend in the city. I loved every bit of it! The room was spotless, the staff was amazing and it was a suite for the price of a regular hotel room. I will definatly be back!

Dont Stay in the Villa Toscana
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/08
Federal Hill was a great destination and we saw pictures of the Villa at the Hotel Dolce Villa in DePasquale Plaza. We expected a cozy romantic spot for a getaway but The pictures on the website do not tell the story about the "Authentic Villa" Dirty and scary will tell you what to expect. $400 per night???? no toilet paper? Mis-matched ...

A nice get away during the holidays
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/07
At first, the entrance was clean, but disarmingly small, but we walked to the right, to the first floor to our room , 3-4 doors down on the left. The room was ALL WHITE, perfectly clean and spacious an unexpected kitchen and seating area were upon entry, and then a hall to the bedroom and bath. The bath, although small was clean and fine for one ...

We would never stay again...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/07
My husband and I were in Providence for our daughter's graduation and spent six nights at the Dolce Villa, May 2007.
Pro's: Valet parking, good location
Con's: Uncomfortable beds; only ceiling fluorescent lights (a lamp by the bed would be nice to read by); all cool white everything (walls, floors, furniture) so with the ...

Stay Somewhere Else!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/07
Bad Service. Did not like my keys hanging on the wall behind the unoccupied front desk. Had to wait for my car while Brad the manager of the hotel was next door talking and eating holding his finger up telling me to wait a minute as I look inside the cafe through the front window!
Room keys that are not electronic and modern CAN YOU SAY SCARY! ...

Our trip was a nightmare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/06
My wife and I traveled cross-country after Brad at the hotel volunteered the information that they had Tempurpedic Mattresses. We called on 3 occasions to be certain that it wasn't a generic memory foam bed, as my wife has a health condition and can only sleep on the real thing. Upon arriving very late, it became clear that the beds were not ...
I wish I could have stayed at this hotel longer. I loved all white stylish interior, high speed internet service (free), flat screen TV and confortable bed. Location is great, in the middle of Little Italy full of good restaurants. There is a little nice Italian cafe across the street. Staff are friendly and helpful. Complementary Valet parking. I ...
First, the not-so-good. It is difficult to find the place the first time driving, even with a good map. Like Little Italy in NYC, this one also has lots of small easily overlooked side streets, and 1 way roads. My suggestion is to park as close as you can, then walk to the front desk to get solid directions about where to leave your car - they ...
