My 13 year old and I went in early July, which luckily had a rise in the water. I had rafted before, but not my daughter. She loved it all, even the cold water splashes. The "3 rocks" and "cardiac corner" were well worth the trip! Sarah was a great instructor -- for those of all ages. Trip is highly recommended and worth every bit -- especially the extra $10 each for the water suits. The environment is priceless also.

Never made it to the river
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/09
We booked trip for 8 of us to raft, 3 adults and 5 children. Since we are from Michigan we planned this one day for rafting, other day was booked and paid for horseback riding. When we booked trip they took our credit card and reserved a spot for us.
Upon arriving we were told the computer went down and they forgot which trip we wanted. Instead of ...

Had a coronary at cardiac corner!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/09
We went rafting in late June. The water was supposed to be lower at this time, but they told us it had gone up again that week for some reason. There were 5 of us, 2 of which were 12 year olds and thus not a lot of help. Our guide was Sarah and she was awesome!! We had so much fun, especially once we kind of got the hang of paddling together. I ...

Awesome!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/07
This was awesome! No need for cameras as they take pictures! Get some beach shoes at Walmart! You can play sand volleyball and have lunch at their property too. The plunge was awesome and Chris is the very best for teens and up! Loved it all and the scenery was unreal. Highly recommend the more advanced plunge or the quieter splash for those 7-10 ages. This is a must do and get Chris!!
This was one excellent adventure I would do again in a second, despite a driving hailstorm and rain. No leisurely float, this one. You actually had to work, which made it even more exciting. Guides are great and very well qualified, and we never felt in danger, despite the rapid flow of the river. Great adventure!!
Went here with my company in June to do a "team building exercize." I loved this river because of it's continuous movement. I've rafted before on East Coast and a lot more paddling was involved due to still water. This was a great combination of class 2,3, and 4, rapids. Our guide, Ian, was fantastic! Can't wait to do it again!

Unbelievable!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/05
My kids are still smiling. Everying was first rate, especially the guides, I will and have recommened it to anyone going to Colorado.
Also here is a hint, don't worry about trying to take photos while on the boat. almost impossible. Instead just budget an extra $60.00 for the photo CD they offer. Our CD had approx. 40 high quality pofessional photos. Ammazing photos
Wow what a great time!

Would do it again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/05
If you have or haven't rafted before, this will be great for you. My family had done the plunge and we had a great raft guide, Kelly. Ask to have Kelly and don't forget to tip the guide, it's worth every penny.
