wow, amazing hearth fireplace. I'm not a history person, but this docent made it all come alive. Very unusual herbs from 18th century and facinating stories of how they were used. I'm going back for special garden events on Wednesdays. Way cool!
A rare gem of authenticity. This is the real thing. Not only is the Tate House in a 1755 time warp, the gardens and view down to the Stroudwater river are not to be missed either.
