The resort is beautiful and out of the way. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to Honolulu, if that's where you want to go. We visited on our honeymoon and loved it. Because we had never traveled to Hawaii, we were interesting visiting in Honolulu, but we still wanted the remote feeling. Honolulu was close enough to visit a couple days, but we really enjoyed the serenity of Ko Olina. The lagoons and pool were lovely, and there were several activities provided by the resort. Resort golf course and spa were equally impressive.

Without a doubt, it's beautiful (right now you have to turn a blind eye to construction completely surrounding the resort -- something we were not told).
