God, where to start. Stayed a week in a major strip casino hotel, and decided to stay in town one more day. They wanted 189 bucks for a Friday night, so we decided to find something cheaper off-strip. Saw some good reviews for E.S on net, and gave it a shot.

Dirty and nothing like the pictures. Very small, dark streets. Next door to a gas station. Nothing nearby whatsoever other than some saloon and a liquor joint across the street. Was mistaken for a hooker by a cop and I was in sweatpants and a hoodie!
Worst experience ever, not a good way to start a Las Vegas vacation. Ended up paying the cancellation fees and for the hotel for one night to go somewhere else!

Emerald Suites S Las Vegas Blvd was so close to the strip for a fraction of the price. We saved a bundle on dining with the completely marvelous kitchen. We have reserved the room one week before we got there, and the room we reserved was Non-Smoking. But, when we got there, the room they gave us was a smoking room and when we asked them about it, they said they didn't have any left. So therefore, they did not reserve the room we asked for.

This place was digusting...from the staff to the rooms. I was assaulted by an employee and nothing was done about it. The pool was closed at 10pm when it states that it is open 24 hours. The manager has no public relations skills. Staff is even worse. Would never stay at Emerald Suites again.

This would be an OK place if it was $45.00 a night, but not for $80.00+. Their ad states that they have FREE high speed Internet, but they try to charge you $3.00 A DAY for the service. On top of that it is not wireless. Which century are they living in???
