The staff was wonderful,The cleaning staff could have done a better job.It's a decent place for the money,there is a paper mill in the area so most of the time the smell outside was horrific. we stayed 5 days and never could get use to the smell.It didn't smell inside the room though.The area was a little seedy but no one bothered us.

Clean, near downtown Savannah. This place is quiet and it has free internet connection. All the rooms even have 42inch plasma tv's and comfy beds. this place is a great value.

Overall appearance was nice. Lobby has computer to research travel info. Front desk help was pleasant, but distracted. Rooms were clean, minimal attempt at decor. Big TV's, comfortable beds. I have stayed at this location many times, during SSU Homecoming weekends, SSU Graduation, etc., and have truly enjoyed my stays. Service was great; my room was comfortable; and it was very convenient to the downtown area [including a shuttle bus for my convenience].

I would defintely recommend this hotel for a "home away from home".
