Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Older Hampton Inn that has been remodeled but still in good condition at a reasonable price, on the road trip we stayed at other newer Hampton Inns in California and they were all exceptional. Walking distance to the beach, eating places and shops.

I travel to the LA area almost weekly and this is my preferred place to stay. The rates are reasonable for the quality of the hotel, friendliness of the staff and proximity of restaurants. The beach is a 1/2 to 3/4 walk each way, but it's a pleasant one and I've always felt safe. There is also a Starbucks within a short 2 block walk.

This is an exceptional Hotel. I stay here 3 times a year and it is always a pleasure. It could only be better if it sat right on the beach. The people at the front desk are so friendly and helpful and the maid service is beyond reproach. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
