Grand Velas was one of the best resort experiences to date we have had. The six of us never left the grounds and found the service and facility itself above compare. The food was fabulous and never wanted for a thing during our entire stay. All of us would go back in a minute.

My husband and I just visited in May for our honeymoon. We can't wait to go back. The staff was great; room was more than comfortable and clean! Our view was to die for! We can't say enough about the food either! The Spa was just as wonderful of an experience as everything else. It's a beautiful resort and we are looking forward to returning. You won't be disappointed.

When we were checking out from the resort a porter asked me if he could take my bag for me while I checked out. I let him take it and when I went over to the shuttle stand to meet my wife and our friends they immediately relized that they lost my luggage. We stayed at the Grand Velas in November 2005 through an RCI exchange. We were originally booked in Cancun, but because of Hurricane Wilma our resort in Cancun was closed down. So, we were re-booked at the Grand Velas in Nuevo Vallarta, and it was GREAT!

The hotel is pretty much anything you could ask for at almost any price. The setting throughout the property transports you away from reality in a sense. We ate at every restaurant and liked them all. Our favorite was Azul, as it had the most extensive menu. Definately attend the spa as it is worth the money and is a one of a kind experience. We stayed for 5 nights and could not have been happier.

Having just returned from Grand Velas, we wish to extend a huge thankyou for a most enjoyable week[11/12-11/19th,2005. The meals in all locations were out of this world,love the presentation of the meals. Our private two storey suite was totally marvelous and we can only say to all the employees of Grand Velas thankyou for your professionalism.
