We were in Oxford for a wedding, and most of the guests were staying at the Randolph in the city centre. Sorry, but with the exchange rate what it is, that's about $400 a night. We were at the Express for $92. The cab from the city centre to the hotel (about a 10 minute drive) is about 8 pounds, or 16 dollars. Really a no-brainer, even ...

I would stay here again - a little out of the city - we had a car and drove in to town and parked - so it made life a little easier -

I have stayed here on numerous occasions. Good hotel, 4 star, great parking, close to park and ride for Oxford City Centre. Better for business/adult use but has good pool/whirlpool and gym. Bar and food excellent.
Worth paying for Executive room on top floor if you can (book on line with holiday inn uk) - nicer rooms with finishing touches ...

Great place to stay for leisure or business. Good modern hotel, wireless internet, good bar, great views of surrounding area.
