Great experience all around!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/05
I love the decor as soon as you enter the lobby. It's modern, simple chic. You can't beat getting 2 free drinks during happy hour where they play live jazz and business professionals can relax and chit chat.
My only complaint was that room service was slow for just a bowl of soup. Other than that, I had a 5 star stay here. The food is excellent by the way.
When we arived at Magnolia, the staff was extremely helpful and did so with great attitudes, actually treating us like we really were their guests. They acted as though they really were there to serve us. We received excellent service the duration of our stay. We enjoyed the happy hour wait staff as well. They were extremely attentive and ...

Hot Houston Nights!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
The Houston Magnolia is in a superb downtown location which offers a variety of activities to suit the newly married couple or a family out on vacation. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, and the hotel has great rooms with great views of the old town area. It's proximity to the freeway system and Minute Maid Stadium are an added bonus. ...
The Magnolia is beautiful. The interior helps you forget you are in a hotel. The complementary drinks and milk and cookies are great too. We parked the car and never had to use it until we checked out. The Magnolia is walking distance to Minute Maid Park, and all the clubs downtown on Main Street. I will always stay at the Magnolia Hotel when I am ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/05
This was our second stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Houston and the third time at a Magnolia hotel alltogether. It was our anniversary but a prom was also being held there that night. I was a little worried about that when we got there, but we were pleasantly greeted and given a 20th floor room (far away from the noise!). The room was absolutely ...

I could have bathed all night!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/04
I got a great deal on this wonderful hotel!! The only drawback was, I had to pay for the "special breakfast deal" to add eggs and bacon to my breakfast menu. Regardless, the place is so close to Minute Maid Park, you can see right in. I thought I would need a floatie for the nice large bathtub and of course, the beds were oooh so ...

I never knew a Magnolia smelled so sweet...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/04
The love of my life and I recently spent four days in Houston at the Magnolia Hotel and I must say this was one of the most unforgetable experiences of my entire life. The decor was superb, clean fresh and very art deco..from the art work on the walls to the furnishings a feast for the eyes a true joy in every sense of the word. Milk and cookies ...
