On our first day the electronic door lock failed. It took hours to fix and we could not change for dinner because of the dress code. The front desk was barely apologetic and we had to go up the management chain to even get a proper apology.

I have to say this was my first adult trip with out my children this was not Disney World..:-). As soon as we walked in the lobby, the staff was unbelievable. Our room was very clean, views were great. Had a problem with the AC no problem, changed our room. Very eager to please guest.

We have been to the Excellence in Punta Cana & The Excellence in Cancun and there is no comparison in the food & the friendliness of the staff in Punta Cana. The the beach in nicer in Cancun, but we will definitely be going back to Punta Cana.
