Awesome Hotel & LocationThis hotel has the best beds and breakfast potatoes in St Louis. It is also within walking distance to Busch Stadium. I love this place!This is one of the most luxurious places to stay in Saint Louis. Everything is wonderful from the service to the dining. The guest rooms are beautiful and spacious. A FABULOUS URBAN SHOWCASEI loved this hotel, mainly because it reminded me that you can enjoy French Victorian elegance without having to go to Europe. The decor is wonderful and the architecture of this hotel is far beyond anything I ever expected south of Chicago.The lobby has a winding staircase that leads you to a stunning view of their many restaurants and ballrooms.You have found this review helpful.4 of 5 Yahoo! Romantic, but not for a familyBeautiful hotel. But unless you have a tip in hand you won't get good service. It took us 2 hours to get help parking our van because it has a raised roof. Vallet ignored us, telling us to hold on a moment, which went on for 1 1/2 hours. Finally I went to management and asked for help. Nice hotel during conventionWe enjoyed our recent two night stay at the Renaissance Grand. We tend to try a lot of different hotels, so by comparison this hotel features average or slightly smaller than average rooms. Completely Underrated!Four stars is an insult! The Grand Renaissance Hotel was perfect! With a convention of teens to manage, the staff was still courteous, helpful and friendly. The accomodations are spectacular! Our room was beautiful and immaculate. Compared to our stay last year in a (so-called) five-star hotel, this was FAR AND AWAY better!
