I loved this new Hotel that's right in the middle of the Condado area in San Juan. The staff was extra nice with us in all of our request and like I said the location could not be better!!!

Our favorite San Juan hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/07
We have stayed in nicer hotels in San Juan but the price tag is much higher. This is very affordable, charming and clean. The service is excellent! We have stayed in other IHP hotels in Puerto Rico; IHP is a favorite for our family.
What I liked was its history and personal touch the you turn in your key it hello Mr. So and So how is stay going is there anything I can help you with excetera. Now mind this is a old spanish consulate building converted to a hotel so its not the most ergonomicaly set up hotel like getting to the ice machine is a chore no elevator not that the ...

Reminiscent of a Days Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
We booked our reservation based on the reviews that we read here but I still was not prepared for the sparcity of the room. The people there were very nice, even being kind enough to wait up for us once they were notified that our flight had problems and we would not get in until 3am. It is a lovely building with the spanish influenced architecture ...
Since I did the research and made the reservations for 3 nights, I was a bit apprehensive before our arrival having made the choice "sight unseen" of course. Even after we checked in I indicated that we might move the next day and made sure that we wouldn't be charged any more. The desk clerk was very cordial and accomodating and had ...

We decided to spend a one-night layover stay in San Juan en route to St. Martin. I found this hotel online and was sold by other reviews I read. At 9pm on a Friday night, it was only a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel. Travel another 10 minutes and you'll be in Old San Juan.
We were greeted warmly by the host as we entered the charming ...

This cute little hotel offers the representation of San Juan. No, it is not a large chain hotel but it is cute and will leave you feeling like you were a part of San Jaun. The people were very friendly and very helpful. The room was perfect for us, we only stayed one night as we had a cruise ship to board. It was clean and we were comfortable. ...

Unique!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/07
We were there Feb 2007. Unique place. converted old spanish consulate. simple, but elegant. they are moving to a new bldg soon, so i would call them and find out if they are still in the old bldg. very friendly staff. in the heart of condado district. no ocean view, but a block from the beach. nice simple complimentary breakfast.
The hotel decor was very charming and the rooms were spacious! The available computer with internet was very helpful in checking up on flight information and the front desk was always very friendly and helpful with calling cabs and suggesting places to go.
