The hoover dam is amazing. We took a tour from a flyer we got on the strip. The tour was overbooked so we got bumped up to the deluxe package for free. We had plenty of time to tour the dam, and then get back on the bus to head back. It was extremely hot the day we went, but inside the dam and on the tour it was airconditioned. The drive out was just as great as the tour of the dam. The tour guides were knowledgeable and answered many questions.

No doubt Hoover dam is the most famous dam in the world. It's not the biggest most luxurious, or anything that would make it so famous, it's simply because it so close to the city of lights - Las Vegas.
