Crab was wonderful and plenty of it. The young lady who served us gave instructions on how to pick out the meat ( we inland, lower 48 needed that) and kept our plates and glasses full! Great food! Great place to go!
This was a great excursion and I would highly recommend to anyone going to Ketchikan. The people working at the lodge were fantastic. I was afraid I'd be hungry after the meal, not knowing how much crab we would get, but they just kept piling crab legs on our plate (and refilling our wine glasses) until we couldn't eat anymore. Absolutely a wonderful experience. The floatplane ride was the icing on the cake!
This was one of those extras you sign up for when you take a cruise, and it was terrific. We flew in a seaplane to the lodge and had a great crab feast for lunch while we talked with the owner of the lodge. The only negative was that the weather prevented the plane from flying back to get us, so the group had to ride back to Ketchikan.
This was the highlight of our Alaskan trip. The young people working here are polite, informative and altogether delightful. The meal of dungeness crab was delicious and generous. Highly recommend!
